Regional OYAP/SHSM Programs

posted Feb 24, 2017, 6:33 AM by Stephen Payne

Did you know that MMR hosts the only Electrical and HVAC programs in the Halton District School Board?  As you think about courses for next year, consider including these programs in your plans.  If you have an interest in taking either of these regional programs, please contact Ms. Hagley in Student Services, Mr. Crechiola (electrical) or Mr. Rippon (HVAC).  You'd be best to contact the school as soon as possible because both programs have limited seating and are filling up fast!

Last Friday, CHCH television met up with Karina Gould at MMR to finish up a news report about Karina and her appointment in Justin Trudeau's cabinet.  Karina wanted to meet at MMR because she views the school as a very important influence on her during her formative years.  Karina met with beloved teachers and walked around the hallways reminiscing about her time at the school.  You can view the news report, including appearances by three MMR teachers, here.
