Drama Info:

Sept 17 & Sept 18th: NTS Auditions

  • 3pm in the Lester B. Pearson Community Theatre,  M.M Robinson High School

  • Come prepared with a 1-2 minute comedic monologue

  • Sign up for auditions on the board outside of the theatre

  • Note: Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays (3-5pm)  and Thursdays (3-4:00pm)

USB Leadership Retreat

On Monday a group of 32 students and 4 staff headed down to Adventureworks in Ancaster to spend Monday and Tuesday developing their leadership skills and helping plan out student events for the year. It was a great trip filled with great conversations, a lovely hike to Sherman Falls, Smores and more. 


Effective September 2019, the HDSB Code of Conduct has been updated to prevent the possession of a vape or vaping paraphernalia on school property for those under the age of 19.

 Burlington’s Student Committee

Lead by the Parks & Recreation Department the city is looking to create a Student Youth Council in an attempt to enhance student engagement and feedback on city projects!   


  • High school students coming together for monthly meetings to discuss key themes regarding their community

  • Students will have an opportunity to listen to city staff presentations and provide feedback, ideas and comments

  • Students will be encouraged to bring information back to their school student body 


  • Increase student civic engagement

  • Give youth a voice

  • Increase youth capacity and feedback on city projects

  • Empower youth to get involved with city decisions 


  • High school students 


  • Pre-registration is not required. 

  • Come to the first meeting to learn about the importance of your youth voice and how you can have a say in how together we can Build Your Burlington
