The OSSLT will be written by all Grade 10 students across the province. Students in Ontario are required to pass the Literacy Test in order to graduate.  2018–2019Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) - WHEN Tuesday, March 31, 2020
- Writing two 75 minute booklets covering a variety of reading and writing tasks
- Reading selections include: information paragraph, news report, dialogue, real life narrative, graphic text
- Reading selections are followed by multiple choice and short answer questions
- Short writing tasks involve an open response question that students need to answer
- Two long writing tasks - news report and series of paragraphs expressing an opinion

Rooms will be assigned prior to the test.
