OUAC Applications
The OUAC office is officially closed for the holidays from December 22, 2023 to January 2, 2024, inclusive.
The OUAC website and online applications will be available during this time.
To reduce the chance of delays and slower online response times, students applying to University are STRONGLY encouraged to complete and submit your Undergraduate application well in advance of the January 15, 2024 deadline.
Extended Applicant Services hours will be available on the January application deadline:
Monday, January 15: 9:30 am to 7 pm (ET)
OUAC Applicant Services Phone: 519-823-1063
Full Disclosure: Monday, November 27th, 2023
To ensure all drop requests are processed in Aspen, our internal MMR deadline is Friday, Nov 24th.
What is Full Disclosure?
The Ministry of Education has a policy of full disclosure. This policy states that all grade 11 and 12 courses attempted by students must be recorded on Ontario Student Transcripts. Full disclosure does not apply to students in Grade 9 or 10 courses.
Here in HDSB, our Guide To Secondary School says:
Full Disclosure – Following the Full Disclosure date (each semester) any Grade 11 or 12 course completed, dropped or failed will appear on a student transcript along with the marks earned in the course. Full Disclosure occurs five instructional days after the issue of the mid-semester Provincial report card. Full disclosure does not apply to Grade 9 or 10 courses
Now with midterm marks, senior classes can make an informed decision as to if a course should be dropped or not by Friday, Nov. 24th.
If there are any questions, please talk to your Guidance Counsellor or make a guidance appt.

Post Secondary Exploration Event
On October 24, 25 and 26, 2023, Grade 12 and 12+ students across the Halton District School Board will participate in an in-person event as part of their education and career/life planning program. This event will invite 5,500+ students across the board to participate in an engaging and informative post-secondary conference at Sheridan College’s Trafalgar campus in Oakville.
Students from Burlington secondary schools will be invited to attend one day of the event from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Details and permission forms will be sent directly to all grade 12 MMR students and families.
MMR needs the permission of students to share their information with post-secondary institutions. This permission is granted through the Freedom of Information Form. The Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) and Ontario College Application Services (OCAS) will not see student information without the completion of this form.
This year, OUAC and OCAS are opening their sites early for applications. In response to this, HDSB schools will be uploading data to the sites earlier.
Please complete this Google form (https://bit.ly/23-24FOI) by September 28th.
